The art below is from two separate projects. The animals were inspired by ancient Anasazi pottery. Students used pinch pots to create the basic form, then embellished from there.
The second project was inspired by Southern folk art face jugs. Students used a coil pot as the basic form, then added the features according to their imaginations.
