Welcome to the Buford Middle School Art Program Website!
My name is Sarah Dixon, and I am the art teacher at BMS. I am passionate about art. I believe everybody can make and enjoy art, and it is pure joy for me to watch kids create and make discoveries in the artistic process.
At BMS, we work with a variety of media including pencil, charcoal, paint, clay, and computers. If time allows, perhaps more. The middle school art program is designed to develop students' foundational skills in a variety of media. We will also learn a little art history and art criticism. The most important criteria for success in this art program is effort. If students try their best, they will be successful in art. I always appreciate hearing from you.
